Amenities

Just minutes from the town of Bancroft, this custom built Scandinavian-designed chalet has waterfront access to Lucerne Lake and is nestled among towering pines with easy access to the road. Thanks to its location along the Whispering Pines, a North Hastings Scenic Route in the Kawarthas region, Towering Pines Cottage Retreat is the ideal place for a romantic escape from the city, a family holiday, or a quiet week away with friends.

Curious about our amenities? With five bedrooms (plus a loft) and three bathrooms, Towering Pines Cottage Retreat can sleep up to 15 people. Our cottage features a finished lower level with a walkout basement, allowing you to exit through our patio doors that take you down to the lake. Here, you will find a private, child-friendly sand beach. You can check in online and send pictures of your time with us to friends and family back home while connected to our hig-speed internet.

During the summer months, if not jumping into Lucerne Lake, you can cool off indoors with our central air conditioning. In the winter, forced air or any of our four fireplaces offer an enveloping warmth.
